Overview

Recta is a posture and neck routine app. Most of your data is stored locally on your device. We use third-party services to deliver ads and process purchases.

Data We Collect

• On-device app data (stored locally): profile settings, completed sessions, and symptom check-ins.
• Purchases: subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple (App Store / StoreKit). We do not store your payment card details.
• Notifications: if you enable reminders, your device schedules local notifications. We do not receive your notification content.
• Advertising data: we show ads using Google AdMob. Ad services may collect device and usage information (for example: approximate location derived from IP address, device identifiers, and ad interaction data).

Advertising and Tracking (Personalized Ads)

Recta uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). If you allow tracking on iOS via AppTrackingTransparency (ATT), AdMob may access the device advertising identifier (IDFA) to help show more relevant ads and measure ad performance. If you do not allow tracking, ads may be less relevant.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK/Switzerland), we may request consent for personalized ads. You can change your consent choices at any time in your device settings, and (where available) in the app.

Recta may use the following third-party services:

How We Use Data

• To provide core app functionality (plans, sessions, progress).
• To show ads (for free users) and measure ad performance.
• To process subscriptions and restore purchases via Apple.

Data Retention

On-device data is kept on your device until you delete it (for example by uninstalling the app). Ad and purchase related data retention is managed by the respective providers (Google/Apple).

Your Choices

• You can disable tracking in iOS settings (ATT prompt choice).
• You can disable notifications in iOS settings.
• You can remove local app data by uninstalling the app.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Children

Recta is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page.
